A Word of Thanks

Instead of sharing my perspective, I would like to ask for yours. So sharpen your # 2 pencils because … THIS IS A TEST! Please do not look at anyone else’s paper but answer the following questions:

1)  What comes to mind when I say November?

2)  What do you appreciate most about November?

3)  Assuming you mentioned Thanksgiving on your list, what is it you are the most thankful for this year?

4)  In the area of your spiritual life, what has been the greatest area of growth in the last year?

5)  As you look at God today, how do you see God differently that you did a year ago?

6)  List four things you have taken for granted in the last year?

7)  Go down that list, and thank God for each of those blessings and ask God to help you appreciate them more this year.

8)  If everything was taken away from you, what is the most important thing in your life?  What is it that you would never want to give up? 
Thank God for that, whatever or whoever it is, and resolve to live your life to reflect that importance.

9)  What are some areas where you have been blessed through our church this past year?

10)  This is a free questions.  You’ve already passed the test.  All I wanted to say is, “Thanks.”

If gratitude is the greatest of all virtues, then may a heart of thankfulness be seen in me and in you.  Thanks for your love and kindness, patience, and faithfulness to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
